Resolving Hacker "New Content Notification" Emails

I imagine that many of you (if not all) have gotten some strange email announcements. We're not sure where they've come from,but we hope to have our webmaster resolve the problem asap. Thanks for your patience.

Should be resolved
The problem should be fixed. The old version of the site allowed anonymous users to post in the "resume" category. I've done two things: one is to disable that option. The other is to turn off notifications from the old site. So even if a hacker sneaks in, you won't have to hear about it.
The new site (this one) is unaffected.
