Feeling as though I'd never really provided a useful explanation to the group as to what the semantic web is, I thought I'd take advantage of a presentation I put on my AXONomics site about a talk I did at Seton Hall, (thanks to a request/invitation from fellow tworks-er and webmaster Tom McGee).

Earlier posts on AXONomics mention my having met Tim Berners-Lee (the real creater of the WWW - sorry Al Gore), and having convinced him to participate on a panel which I was moderating at a conference here in NY.

Next week, Talis, the UK company that I visited last year, is publishing their latest issue of Nodalities Magazine, and the cover story is my write-up on the use of Semantic Technology in the Financial industry - based on my having organized a forum at another conference in California earlier this year.
