Description:
The Director of Fundraising will be responsible for working with Executive Leadership and volunteer committees to set and achieve fundraising goals. The Director will manage special events and direct mail programs. S/he will identify and engage potential new donors and leaders and cultivate and steward relationships. The Director will forge partnerships with volunteers, build teams, manage and facilitate gift solicitations, and plan and execute fundraising strategy and outreach events. This person will be responsible for planning and implementing a wide range of development activities, including campaign events, special activities and cultivation and solicitation of potential donors.

The Director of Fundraising will execute and implement a comprehensive Financial Resource Development plan, including the development and coordination of the WWO annual appeal, Planned Giving and Endowment plans.

Responsibilities:
• Liaison to Board Development Committee
• Plan and Execute the fundraising plan
• Lead on Special Events including dinners, parties and community forums
• Ensure timely creation, execution and marketing of holiday cards and other WWO products
• Conduct volunteer recruitment and manage volunteers
• Establish volunteer recognition program
• Create and execute effective donor acknowledgement system
• Prepare and distribute development reports and analyses
• Coordinate/Implement WWO Annual Gala in cooperation with the Gala Committee.

The Maplewood office is at a walking distance from the NJ Transit and 30 minutes by train from Manhattan.
Additional Qualifications:

5 to 7 years of experience
CFRE preferred
