Job Opening: Programmer

My group at Seton Hall has an opening for a Digital Media Specialist - Programmer which we're trying to fill. We've had a limited number of applicants so far (one, actually), so besides having an inside track there isn't much competition.

There isn't much money, either, but under today's circumstances it might be better than nothing. It's an easy commute, good benefits, low stress, and the people are nice.

------
If you don't have all this don't worry; what we really want is someone smart who can and will pick things up as they go along. The most important priority I think is a solid knowledge of Linux system administration, including installing and configuring software packages, and managing user rights.

If you're interested do two things:

One, go to http://www.shu.edu/offices/shu-job-opportunities.cfm and click the "View Open Positions" button. Click on "search postings," then search for position number 0000223. If you're interested go through the on-line application process. This is necessary for any personnel move at SHU, even transfers and promotions.

Two, let me know that you've seen this on transitionworks.org and send me a note. That way I can move things forward quickly.
